Mathematical and Statistical Modeling Education Act

This bill requires the National Science Foundation to help increase math and statistical modeling education in elementary and secondary schools. The Foundation must give competitive awards to colleges and nonprofit organizations to research and develop high-quality math modeling education, including data science and computational thinking. These awards can be given until September 30, 2029. The Foundation must also work with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to study and write a report about math and statistical modeling education in schools.
