Department of Homeland Security Intelligence and Analysis Training Act

This bill requires the intelligence office within the Department of Homeland Security to set up training programs for its new employees. All new hires would receive training on topics like privacy rights and civil liberties, while employees in specific roles, such as analysts or open-source intelligence collectors, would get additional specialized training related to their jobs. The office would also need to track whether employees complete their training and make sure workers know about training opportunities offered by other intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense. Finally, the Government Accountability Office would have to report to Congress on how well the training programs are being carried out and how they compare to training at other agencies.
