Stop Pills That Kill Act

This bill increases criminal punishments for people involved in making fentanyl or fake versions of drugs. It extends penalties that currently apply to methamphetamine-related equipment and materials so they also cover equipment used to illegally make fentanyl, fentanyl-like substances, or counterfeit drugs. The bill also requires the Drug Enforcement Administration to create a plan to fight counterfeit fentanyl and methamphetamine through law enforcement and education, and it requires the Department of Justice to put out a yearly report on how law enforcement is collecting these fake substances and prosecuting related crimes.
