Major Non-NATO Ally Terror Threat Assessment Act

This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to give Congress a report on terrorism threats coming from terrorist groups and individuals operating in countries that are close U.S. allies but not part of NATO. The report must identify which terrorist organizations or designated terrorists are in each of these allied countries, describe what those groups are doing there, and explain what each ally's government is doing to stop them. There are currently 19 countries with this "major non-NATO ally" status, including countries like Australia, Israel, Japan, Egypt, and Pakistan, and Taiwan is also treated as one for certain purposes.
