No Antisemitism in Education Act of 2026

This bill says that schools and colleges that receive federal money must take discrimination based on antisemitism just as seriously as they take other forms of discrimination banned under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, such as discrimination based on race, color, or national origin. When federal agencies, schools, or colleges are looking into whether an act of discrimination was driven by antisemitic intent, they must use the definition of antisemitism from a 2019 executive order, which uses a definition describing antisemitism as a certain perception of Jews that may be expressed as hatred toward Jews.
