FEC Administrative Improvements Act

This bill makes two main changes to how political committees handle their paperwork and money. First, it requires that reports about certain political ads, called "electioneering communications," be filed electronically with the Federal Election Commission, as long as they meet a dollar threshold. Second, it changes the rule that political committees must pay their expenses by check, allowing them to also use other payment methods like credit or debit cards.
