Ending Predator Access to Union Power Act

This bill would stop anyone convicted of a sex crime against a minor from holding a leadership role in a labor union, advising a union, or representing employers in bargaining with unions for 13 years after their conviction or release from prison. Current law already blocks people convicted of certain crimes like robbery, bribery, murder, or rape from serving in these roles for 13 years. This bill adds sex offenses against minors to that list of crimes.
