Removing Barriers to Work for Disabled Americans Act

This bill extends the Social Security Administration's ability to run test programs within the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program through 2031. These test programs, which must be voluntary, try out temporary changes to SSDI rules to help people with disabilities stay connected to the workforce. The bill requires that participating in a test program cannot reduce a person's total income, and it says the costs of running these programs must come from existing administrative funds. It also increases the amount of notice the Social Security Administration must give Congress before starting a new test program from 90 days to 120 days and requires that notice to include details on how the program will be measured.
