Workforce for AI Trust Act

This bill sets up programs to help train workers and researchers in the field of artificial intelligence. It directs the National Institute of Standards and Technology to support AI career development and create a system for describing AI-related jobs and skills that employers and schools can use. The bill also allows the National Science Foundation to fund research fellowships and workshops at colleges and universities focused on building trustworthy AI, and it encourages using AI to speed up research in many fields, including by training students and researchers. Additionally, the NSF must make sure that panels reviewing AI research proposals include people from a variety of backgrounds, such as social science, ethics, and linguistics.
