Access to Innovative Treatments Act of 2026

This bill says that when Medicare decides not to cover a drug or limits its coverage in a way that doesn't match the FDA's approval of that drug, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services must review that decision within 30 days if someone asks them to. However, this review isn't required if they already did one within the past two years. The bill also says Medicare can't use older coverage decisions that were made before a drug was approved by the FDA if those old decisions conflict with the drug's approval.
