Cybersecurity for Rural Water Systems Act

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to create a program that sends cybersecurity experts to help rural water and wastewater systems protect themselves from cyber threats. The program is designed for systems serving areas with 10,000 or fewer people and would work similarly to an existing USDA program that already sends experts to help rural water systems with everyday problems. The cybersecurity helpers would check how well these small water systems can handle cyber threats, help them create plans to improve their digital security, and keep records of how protected each system currently is.
