Seizure Awareness and Preparedness Act

This bill requires the Department of Education to offer grants to states, which would then pass funding to local school districts. The money would be used to support elementary and secondary school students who have epilepsy or seizure disorders. Specifically, school districts would use the funds to train school staff on how to recognize and respond to seizures, including how to follow individual health care and emergency plans for students with these conditions.
