ROCR Value Based Program Act

This bill creates a new payment system under Medicare for doctors and facilities that provide radiation therapy to cancer patients. Instead of being paid for each individual service, providers would receive a single payment for each full course of treatment, which covers either 30 or 90 days depending on the type of cancer. Most radiation therapy providers that participate in Medicare would be required to join this program, with a few exceptions like those facing significant hardship. The bill also requires the government to study how the program is working and to look into areas where people don't have enough access to radiation therapy.
