No UPCODE Act

This bill changes how the government calculates payments to Medicare Advantage health plans, which are private insurance plans for people on Medicare. It requires the agency in charge to use two years of medical records when figuring out how much to pay these plans and stops them from using certain diagnoses that come from chart reviews or health risk check-ups. The bill also says the agency must account for differences in how Medicare Advantage plans and traditional Medicare record medical diagnoses when setting payment amounts.
