Restore Protections for Dialysis Patients Act

This bill sets rules for private health insurance companies when they cover people who have end stage renal disease (a serious kidney condition) and are also on Medicare. It says insurance companies cannot limit benefits or change their provider networks in ways that treat people with this kidney condition differently from people without it. However, the bill also says insurance companies do not have to include any specific dialysis providers or a certain number of dialysis providers in their networks.
