Manufactured Housing Tenant’s Bill of Rights Act of 2025

This bill says that manufactured home communities (also known as mobile home parks) must follow certain rules to protect tenants if the community owner wants to get a loan backed by the federal government. These rules include giving tenants renewable one-year leases, at least 60 days' notice before raising rent or selling or closing the community, a five-day grace period to pay rent, and the right to sell their home within a reasonable time if they are evicted. If these rules are broken, there are penalties. The bill also creates a new commission to suggest additional protections for people living in these communities.
