RIDE Act

This bill would allow workers who travel with carnivals or circuses to get a type of visa called a P visa, which is normally used for athletes, artists, and entertainers coming to the United States. It would cover workers who do important jobs for the carnival or circus, like moving and setting up equipment and structures. However, these visas would only be given out if there aren't enough American workers available to fill the jobs and if hiring foreign workers won't hurt the pay or working conditions of American workers doing similar jobs.
