Tribal Labor Sovereignty Act of 2025

This bill would make it so that Indian tribes and their businesses and institutions located on tribal land do not have to follow the rules set by the National Labor Relations Act. Right now, that law requires employers to avoid unfair labor practices and to let their workers form unions, bargain as a group, and take collective action. If this bill passed, those requirements would no longer apply to tribal employers operating on tribal land.
