Fallen Servicemembers Religious Heritage Restoration Act

This bill extends a surveillance law called Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act until April 2029 while adding new rules to protect Americans' privacy. It requires the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to review every time the FBI searches for information about a U.S. person collected through foreign surveillance, and it creates criminal penalties for officials who lie about following search rules or knowingly break them. The bill also says that only certain FBI attorneys, not regular supervisors, can approve these searches. In addition, the bill blocks the Federal Reserve from creating or using a digital dollar currency, offering financial services directly to individuals, or holding accounts for individuals.
