Stop Stealing our Chips Act

This bill sets up a program that rewards people who report violations of U.S. export control laws to the government. It requires the Bureau of Industry and Security, which controls the export of items that can be used for both civilian and military purposes, to create a secure online system where people can submit tips about these violations. If someone's tip leads to fines being imposed, the government can pay that person a financial reward from a special fund created by the bill. The bill also protects whistleblowers by making it illegal to retaliate against them and by keeping their identities confidential.
