Retired Law Enforcement Officers Continuing Service Act

This bill would let the Department of Justice give money to state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies so they can hire retired law enforcement officers to do certain non-patrol tasks, like helping with investigations, reviewing camera footage, analyzing crime scenes, and doing forensic work. The grants could also be used to train civilian employees to perform those same tasks.
