Improving Police CARE Act

This bill requires a part of the Department of Justice called the Bureau of Justice Assistance to create standards for trauma kits — medical supplies used in emergencies — that police departments can buy using certain government grant money. It also requires the Bureau to publish best practices for how law enforcement agencies should use, set up, and maintain these trauma kits.
