Promoting Access to Diabetic Shoes Act

This bill would let nurse practitioners and physician assistants handle the paperwork needed for Medicare to cover special shoes for people with diabetes. Right now, only a doctor can sign off on that documentation. The bill expands who is allowed to complete those requirements so it includes other types of medical providers.
