Second Chance Reauthorization Act of 2025

This bill renews funding through 2030 for several federal grant programs that help people get back on their feet after being released from jail or prison. These grants go to state, local, and tribal governments, nonprofits, and service providers to support things like job training, education in prisons and jails, substance abuse treatment for families, mentoring, and programs that help both adults and young people transition back into their communities.
