Title VIII Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act of 2026

This bill renews and updates programs through 2031 that help recruit, train, and keep nurses and nursing teachers in the workforce. It continues funding for grants that support nursing school enrollment, advanced training, student loan repayment, and scholarships for nurses who agree to work in places that really need them. The bill also adds new training areas like telehealth and caring for survivors of sexual assault. It also creates temporary grants to help nursing schools pay their teachers better and to set up centers that collect information about the nursing workforce.
