Innovative FEED Act of 2025

This bill creates rules for regulating certain substances that are added to animal food or drinking water to affect how animals digest their food, reduce harmful germs, or change the bacteria in their gut. These substances would be treated as food additives, but they do not include things like medicines used to treat or prevent animal diseases, hormones, or drug ingredients. The bill also requires that labels on these products include a notice saying the substance cannot be used to treat or prevent diseases in animals.
