ESTUARIES Act of 2025

This bill renews funding through 2031 for a program that gives grants to help protect and restore important estuaries, which are coastal areas where freshwater from rivers meets the ocean's saltwater. The grants, provided by the Environmental Protection Agency, support plans to conserve these estuaries and address threats to their environment and economy. The program can give grants to states, regional agencies, nonprofit organizations, and other groups or individuals.
