MORE Savings Act

This bill changes how Medicare, Medicaid, and private health insurance handle coverage for opioid treatment and recovery support services. It requires testing a Medicare program where patients would not have to pay out-of-pocket costs like copays or deductibles for certain opioid treatments. It also lets state Medicaid programs cover recovery support services as part of medication-assisted treatment and gives states more federal funding to help pay for it. Starting in 2027, private health insurance companies would also have to cover certain opioid treatments and recovery support services without charging patients extra costs.
