Equitable Community Access to Pharmacist Services Act

This bill would make it so Medicare permanently covers certain testing and treatment services provided by pharmacists for illnesses like COVID-19, the flu, RSV, and strep throat. Pharmacists could also provide these kinds of services for other health needs during a declared public health emergency. Similar rules were temporarily in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, and this bill would make them permanent. All services would still need to follow the rules each state has about what pharmacists are allowed to do.
