Tribal Gaming Regulatory Compliance Act

This bill would change the rules for two Native American tribes in Texas — the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo and the Alabama-Coushatta tribes — when it comes to gambling on their land. Right now, these tribes are not allowed to offer gambling activities if Texas law doesn't allow them. This bill would remove that restriction and instead put these tribes under the same federal gambling law, called the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, that applies to other tribes across the country.
