CRP Improvement and Flexibility Act of 2025

This bill makes changes to the Conservation Reserve Program, which pays farmers a yearly rent to take environmentally sensitive land out of farming and plant things that help the environment. It raises the maximum yearly payment farmers can receive from $50,000 to $125,000 and sets up a permanent way for land to be enrolled under a wildlife protection effort. The bill also allows the government to help pay for building grazing infrastructure and other land management activities on enrolled land, and it makes it easier for farmers to use the land for haying and grazing in certain situations, including during emergencies like droughts, floods, or wildfires.
