Seedlings for Sustainable Habitat Restoration Act of 2025

This bill helps support the gathering and storing of native seeds and the growing of tree seedlings. It lets the Forest Service make deals with state forestry agencies, colleges, Indian tribes, and other groups to collect and maintain native seeds and produce seedlings for replanting. It also updates an existing program that funds forest restoration projects by adding colleges to the list of groups that can offer jobs or training, and by allowing those job and training opportunities to include seed collection and seedling production.
