International Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2025

This bill renews funding through 2029 for programs across several federal departments and agencies that work to fight human trafficking and modern slavery around the world. It also renews a law that requires sex offenders to share information about their plans to travel outside the United States. The bill changes how countries are ranked based on their efforts to stop trafficking, including adjusting which countries go on a watch list and how long they can stay on it after their ranking changes. It also requires the State Department to update Congress on changes to country rankings and makes sure that efforts to fight trafficking are included more in U.S. aid to other countries.
