FAIR Act of 2025

This bill says that hospitals getting Medicare money to train doctors must share information about their residency programs, including how many applicants come from osteopathic medical schools versus allopathic medical schools and how many from each type are accepted. Hospitals must also confirm that they consider applicants from both types of medical schools and accept their exam results. If a hospital doesn't report this information, its Medicare training payments would be cut by 2%, and the reported information would be posted on a public website.
