Prevent Government Shutdowns Act of 2025

This bill would automatically keep the government funded at the same spending levels as the previous year if Congress does not finish passing its spending bills before a new fiscal year starts, preventing a government shutdown. It would also restrict lawmakers from taking official trips, going on breaks, or working on bills unrelated to spending until they finish the spending process.
