Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians Land Transfer Act of 2025

This bill requires the federal government to take about 265 acres of land in El Dorado County, California, and hold it in trust for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians. The land includes about 80 acres currently managed by federal agencies and about 185 acres already owned by the tribe, and all of it would become part of the tribe's reservation. The bill also moves some of the land from the Forest Service to the Department of the Interior and does not allow gambling on any of the land taken into trust.
