Fertilizer Research Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to publish a report on its website about the U.S. fertilizer industry. The report must cover several topics, including how the fertilizer industry affects the prices farmers get for their products, the size and value of the fertilizer market over the past 25 years, how fertilizer imports and certain trade fees affect retail prices, how much of the market is controlled by a small number of companies, the rules governing fertilizer production and use, and whether current public reporting of fertilizer prices is clear enough or needs improvement.
