STARS Act

This bill requires the Department of the Interior and the Forest Service to make September 17, 2026, a free entry day at many federal outdoor sites to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. On that date, entrance fees would be waived at all National Park Service and National Wildlife Refuge sites, and recreation fees would be waived at sites managed by the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, and the Forest Service.
