Shutdown Fairness Act

This bill would provide funding so that federal employees who are required to keep working during a government shutdown get paid during the shutdown, instead of having to wait until the shutdown ends to receive their pay. It also includes certain contractors who help support federal workers during a shutdown. However, agencies could not use this funding during times when temporary funding measures are already keeping the government running.
