Safe Cloud Storage Act

This bill protects technology companies that help law enforcement agencies store and handle child sexual abuse material during investigations from being sued or charged with crimes for possessing that material, as long as those companies follow the rules and don't act carelessly or with bad intent. Right now, companies that work directly with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children already have these protections, but companies that work with federal, state, or local law enforcement do not. The bill extends similar protections to those companies while also requiring them to follow cybersecurity rules and proper evidence storage requirements when handling this material.
