Tribal Warrant Fairness Act

This bill lets the U.S. Marshals Service help tribal law enforcement by investigating cases involving fugitives from tribal lands, both inside and outside the country, when a tribe asks for help. It also allows the U.S. Marshals Service to help tribal law enforcement find missing children if requested. The bill gives tribal law enforcement agencies the ability to join regional fugitive task forces, which are teams of federal, state, and local law enforcement that work together to find and catch fugitives. The Department of Justice would be required to consult with tribes when setting up new task forces.
