Hotel Fees Transparency Act of 2025

This bill says that hotels, short-term rentals, and online booking websites must show the full price of a stay, including all service fees, whenever they display or advertise a price. They must also show this total price from the very first moment a customer sees pricing options and at every step of the booking process. Before a customer completes their purchase, the provider must also show any government taxes or fees that apply. The Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general would be responsible for enforcing these rules.
