AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Transportation to create a rule that makes AM radio a standard feature in all new passenger vehicles sold in the United States. Until that rule takes effect, car manufacturers that leave out AM radio must clearly tell buyers it's not included and cannot charge extra to add it. The government can fine companies that break the rule, and the Department of Justice can take legal action to stop violations. The bill also requires a study on how emergency alerts are delivered to the public, including how AM radio compares to other alert systems.
