National Programmable Cloud Laboratories Network Act of 2025

This bill gives official legal backing to a National Science Foundation program that creates a network of up to six high-tech laboratories that scientists can use remotely through the internet, with artificial intelligence helping to run experiments automatically. These labs, run by universities or research organizations, must provide access to advanced scientific tools and secure digital systems, and at least one must support biotechnology research. The National Institute of Standards and Technology will set rules so the labs can work together and share data smoothly. Each lab in the network can receive yearly grants for up to five years, and the entire program ends on September 30, 2031.
