Rural Obstetrics Readiness Act

This bill sets up and expands grant programs through a federal health agency to help rural areas and places that don't have enough doctors or facilities for pregnancy and childbirth care. It provides funding to certain hospitals in these areas for training staff, building up their workforce, and buying equipment to handle childbirth emergencies. The bill also requires grants for training health care workers at rural facilities that don't have dedicated childbirth units and creates a pilot program to help rural facilities use telehealth for urgent pregnancy-related care.
