PRO Veterans Act of 2025

This bill does three main things related to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). First, it requires the VA to give Congress budget updates every three months, including information about any money shortfalls and plans to fix them. Second, it stops the VA from giving bonus payments for special skills to most high-ranking employees who work in the VA's main office, though some exceptions apply, and it requires yearly reports to Congress about any bonuses that are given. Third, it creates a Veterans Experience Office, lasting through 2028, focused on improving how veterans and their families feel about the services and benefits they receive from the VA, and it requires a review of how the VA collects and uses feedback from veterans.
