Public Lands Integrity Act

This bill would block Congress from including provisions that sell, give away, or transfer federal lands in certain fast-track budget bills known as reconciliation legislation. Reconciliation is a special process Congress can use to quickly pass changes to spending and tax laws, and it has rules that limit what can be included. This bill would make any provisions selling or transferring federal lands count as something that doesn't belong in those fast-track bills, which would effectively prevent them from being passed through this faster process.
