A bill to direct the Secretary of Agriculture to establish an initiative to address the availability, quality, and cost of childcare in rural areas, and for other purposes.

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to create a program called the Expanding Childcare in Rural America Initiative. The program would give priority to certain loans and grants that help improve the availability, quality, or costs of childcare in rural areas for children who have not yet started first grade. The Department must also make sure the benefits are spread out fairly across different parts of the country and must study how well the program is working and report the results to Congress.
