Freedom to Travel for Health Care Act of 2026

This bill says that no one can stop, punish, or discriminate against a person for traveling to another state to get reproductive health care, like pregnancy-related services or abortion, as long as that care is legal in the state where it happens. It also protects people who provide or help with that care. The Department of Justice can sue anyone who breaks this rule, and individuals can also file their own lawsuits. The bill overrides any state laws that go against it and removes government immunity as a defense.
