Protection of Lawful Commerce in Stone Slab Products Act of 2026

This bill would stop people from suing the companies that make or sell stone slab products — like those made from quartz, minerals, glass, porcelain, or similar materials — when someone gets hurt during the cutting or shaping of those products by a different company. This includes injuries caused by breathing in silica dust or other substances. The bill also says that any lawsuits like this that are already happening when the bill becomes law must be thrown out.
